La Maison QUAIL est a la recherche d'un(e) prepose(e) au beneficiaires pour un travail a temps partiel - minimum 20 hres par semaine.

Nous offrons un foyer de soutien ou six adultes ayant une deficience intellectuelle vivent avec dignite, autonomie et joie. Description generale du poste

Sous la supervision de la directrice (caregiver-manager) le-la titulaire du poste a la responsabilite de dispenser, et assurer la qualite des soins d'hygiene et services d'assistance a nos residents.

Responsabilites principales

Offrir des soins d'assistance a nos residents a la vie quotidienne tout en favorisant l'independance et la dignite notamment: aide a l'hygiene (toilette, bain, soins d'incontinence); aide a l'habillement, et a l'alimentation

Preparer les repas

Effectuer l'entretien menager du milieu de vie

Collaborer a l'application du plan de soins individualises

Administrer les medicaments conformement aux instructions

Favoriser un climat chaleureux, securitaire et respectueux

Favoriser le developpement, la consolidation et le lien maintien de liens interpersonnels

Offrir un soutien moral, une ecoute attentive et un accompagnement bienveillant

Realisation d'activites pour residents

Appliquer les mesures d'hygiene de prevention des infections et de securite en tout temps

Tenir a jour les rapports de soins et les communications pertinentes

Exigences et competences recherches

Detenir un diplome d'etude secondaire

Detenir un diplome dans le domaine de prepose aux beneficiaires, education specialisee, ou une formation equivalente (un atout)

Experience en ressources intermediaires ou avec des personnes ayant une deficience intellectuelle (atout)

Empathie, respect, patience et sens d'observation

Bonne capacite a communiquer clairement en anglais a l'oral et a l'ecrit (nous servons une clientele anglophone ou bilingue)

Ponctualite, fiabilite et soucieux du bien etre des residents

Grande capacite a travailler en equipe

Avoir ou etre disponible et s'engager a suivre et garder a jour les formations exigees par QUAIL ( PDSB, RCR, Loi 90 ).

Verification des antecedents judiciaires pour personnes oeuvrant aupres d'une clientele vulnerable

Travail en equipe stable et respectueux, formation continue offerte.

Salaire de base $ 24.52 + Prime sante et bien etre.

Heures variables - etre disponible les nuits, jours, fin de semaine (blocs de 4, 8 ou 12 hres).

General job description

Under the supervision of the caregiver-manager), the incumbent is responsible for providing and ensuring the quality care and support to our residents.

Primary responsibilities

providing assistance to our residents in their daily lives while promoting independence and dignity, including: assistance with hygiene (toileting, bathing, incontinence care); assistance with dressing and eating

Preparing meals

Performing housekeeping duties in the living environment

Collaborating in the implementation of individualized care plans

Administering medication according to instructions

Promoting a warm, safe, and respectful environment

Promoting the development, strengthening and maintenance of interpersonal relationships

Providing moral support, attentive listening, and compassionate guidance

Organizing activities for residents

Applying infection prevention and safety measures at all times

Keep appropriate notes on care and relevant communications up to date

Qualifications and skills required

High school diploma

Diploma in special care counselling, or personal support work, or equivalent training or education(an asset)

Experience working in intermediate resources or with people with intellectual disabilities (an asset)

Empathy, respect, patience, and keen observation skills

Ability to communicate clearly in spoken and written English (we serve an English-speaking or bilingual clientele)

Punctuality, reliability, and concern for the well-being of residents

Strong ability to work in a team

Have or be available and committed to completing and maintaining the training required by QUAIL (PDSB - lift and transfer, CPR, Law 90).

Criminal record check - vulnerable sector

Base salary $ 24.52+ Health and wellness bonus.

Variable hours - must be available nights, days, weekends (4, 8, or 12-hour shifts).
