Caregivers are supported by a dedicated Care Manager and our extended clinical network, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and specialists who provide guidance when needed.

The Opportunity



We are seeking a Cantonese-speaking caregiver to support our client, located in northwest Calgary. This role involves working with a consistent client and providing relationship-based, high-quality care. We may also have other opportunities with different clients to fill out your schedule.

Care Goals:



Companionship, emotional support, and cognitive engagement Promoting mobility, supporting safe transfers, and encouraging activity Assistance with personal care tasks, including bathing and dressing Support with daily living activities such as going for walks and shopping Maintaining safety, comfort, dignity, and independence in the home

Schedule:



Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday: 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM Wednesday: 2:45 PM - 6:45 PM

Requirements



Candidates must meet the following requirements:

Fluent in Cantonese Health Care Aide certification (or equivalent or higher training) OR 2 to 3 years of relevant direct care experience in homecare, facility care, or hospital settings CPR and First Aid certification Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle Ability to work consistent weekly hours with one or two clients maximum Comfort using mobile apps for scheduling and charting (training provided)

Experience supporting clients with dementia and mobility challenges A history of volunteerism or community involvement
