Your Day to Day:
Specifically, the Career Services Coordinator will be responsible for:
Developing external relationships to build practicum placements and job leads to ensure students and graduates are informed of openings within their industry within the scheduled timeframe
Collaborating with Instructors to determine practicum placement experiences for students
Contributing to and monitoring the quality of the student experience, including practicums and the job search process
Engaging students in the work search process - tracking and monitoring activity
Achieving the College's targeted employment rates
Ensuring campus compliance with policies relating to practicum placement, employment supports and documentation
Supporting the administrative functions of the campus to enhance the student experience
Acting in a manner that upholds the College standards
Other related duties, as required.
Requirements:
Degree, diploma or certificate from a recognized University or College in a relevant discipline (Degree preferred).
1 or 2 years experience in a related field, such as recruitment or employment counselling or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a high paced, target driven enviroment.
Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner,
Keep records of all conversations in our systems in a comprehensive way.
