Salary Range:
The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $63,357 to $112,345, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).
Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.
Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.
Job Summary:
Career Education, Physical Education, Athletic Director, Grades 7-12
1.0 FTE temporary contract, starting September 2, 2025 or upon completion of the posting process to June 26, 2026.
Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience at the Secondary level. Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience in Career Education and Physical Education.
This position is tentatively scheduled to include Career Life Education 9 and Capstone, Physical Education 7, Physical Education 10-12 and Athletic Director. Please note that all work will be on site.
Please note: Continuing teachers will need to vacate their continuing assignment in order to accept a temporary assignment, unless the FTE is greater in the temporary job posting.
