*Please be aware that this is not a Health Care Aide (HCA) Position. HCA Proof of Registry is not a requirement for this position.

• Provide companionship and basic household tasks for medically stable patients under the direction of a Home Support Supervisor.
• Perform basic meal preparation and light housekeeping duties such as washing dishes, taking out the garbage, doing client\xe2\x80\x99s laundry. Sweeping and vacuuming within the client\xe2\x80\x99s immediate living area may be required.
• Provide respite for medically stable patients while the primary caregiver is out of the home.
• Maintain awareness of patient\xe2\x80\x99s abilities, current diagnosis made by medical professionals, diet, personal interests and special needs.
• Requires travel within assigned region between patients\xe2\x80\x99 residences or facilities.
• Other duties as assigned to support operational requirements

• Compassionate individual with a passion for helping others
• 1\xe2\x80\x932-year experience required
• Experience in a residential care setting is preferred
• Demonstrate infection control procedures
• Ability to interact with others in a caring, courteous and tactful manner

• Valid CPR and First Aid
• Clear Police Information Check
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
• COVID-19 vaccination. This requirement will be waived if you did not receive the vaccination due to any legislated protected human rights grounds
