Care Aide
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Careaid.
Part-time 2-3 days a week, and will lead to full-time if the careaid desires to work more.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of senior care and be skilled in meal preparation, medication administration, and case management.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care assistance to an 86-year-old male, including grooming and dressing. No bathing is needed.
Warm up meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
Assist with medication administration as per prescribed guidelines.
Engage the client in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
Maintain accurate records of residents' health status and report any changes.
Experience
Prior experience in senior care or assisted living settings is preferred.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
A commitment to providing high-quality care with empathy and respect.
