The Perfusionist I is a leader and pivotal member of the inter-professional team working collaboratively to achieve the best patient outcomes through a team-based approach. The Foothills Medical Centre Cardiac Surgery program performs approximately 1650 surgeries per year and the Perfusionist I also supports both adult and pediatric ECLS programs in Calgary for Southern Alberta. Relocation assistance up to $8000.Description:
As a Cardiovascular Perfusionist I, you are responsible for the safe and efficient preparation for and management of cardiopulmonary bypass and related cardiopulmonary support modalities for adult, pediatric and infant patients. You will work in consultation with attending physicians and will administer various anaesthetic and medical gases, other related pharmaceuticals, blood and blood products and various crystalloid solutions.- Classification: Cardiovascular Perfusionist I
