Qualifications:



Education and Licensure:



Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Completion of an accredited internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship. Board Certification in Cardiology (or eligibility). Valid and unrestricted medical license. Independent Practice Certificate of Registration from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). Royal College certification in Cardiology (or pending certification) Membership in the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)

Key Responsibilities:



Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases. Interpret test results and develop individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to coordinate care. Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness. Educate patients on lifestyle changes, risk factors, and preventative care strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with medical and legal standards. Participate in continuing education and stay up to date with medical advancements in cardiology.

Skills and Experience:



Proven experience as a Cardiologist or in a related specialty. In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular diseases, diagnostics, and treatments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Commitment to high-quality patient care and professional development.
