Opportunity:
The Department of Medical Affairs - Covenant Health in partnership with Alberta Health Services and the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta, is inviting applications to fill Cardiologist positions for the Misericordia Community Hospital and provide patient care in Edmonton Alberta.

Salary Details:
The average gross income of a Cardiologist in Alberta is $930,620.00 CAD (xc2xa3500,273.39 GBP). Compensation for this opportunity is based on a fee-for-service model and may include additional program stipends. Financial incentives such as reimbursable travel arrangements and relocation support may be available.
Qualifications:
Cardiologist with a UK Certificate of Completion of Training are not required to rewrite any exams in order to be approved for accelerated licensure in Alberta and can immediately start in independent practice. Required:

• MD or equivalent.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
• Certification in Cardiology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
• Expertise and commitment to quality care and patient safety.
• Demonstrated commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) in the healthcare environment.
• Understanding of Just Culture and its role in healthcare.
