Job Summary

We have recently expanded our cardiac centre due to our growth in cardiac programs.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cardiac ECG/Stress Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing electrocardiograms (ECGs) on patients, ensuring accurate readings and providing essential support to medical staff. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and a commitment to patient care.

Duties

Conduct electrocardiograms (ECGs) on patients, ensuring proper placement of electrodes and adherence to protocols. Prepare patients for ECG procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns. Monitor patients during the ECG process to ensure comfort and safety. Record and analyze ECG results, identifying any abnormalities that may require further attention. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to ECG tests. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and assist in patient management. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and sanitized according to health regulations. Stay updated on advancements in ECG technology and best practices in patient care.

Experience

Previous experience as an ECG Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach towards patient care. Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
