Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Cardiac Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing adult echocardiography and stress echocardiography exams to assist in diagnosing cardiac conditions.

Duties

- Perform adult echocardiography and stress echocardiography exams.

- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining each step and ensuring their comfort.

- Operate echocardiography equipment efficiently and safely, following established protocols.

- Review images and provide initial observations to assist physicians with diagnostics.

- Maintain accurate records of patient information and procedures performed.

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.

- Stay current with advancements in echocardiography and best practices in cardiac imaging.

Experience

- Registration with

Sonography Canada

and

CMRITO

(Required)

- Registration with

ARDMS

(Optional)

- 1-year or more experience in echocardiography is preferred.

- Proficiency in cardiac medical terminology is essential for clear communication within the healthcare team.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure are valued.
