• Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography Ontario College Graduate Certification required
• Current registration with CMRITO or able to achieve registration prior to start date
• CPR Certification preferred or required in three months

Skill, Ability and Experience:

• Basic proficiency in the use of computers required
• Ability to meet the physical demands of this job required
• Recent cardiac ultrasound experience preferred
• Experience with electronic Information System preferred

Principal Duties:

• Perform cardiac ultrasound imaging procedures to aid in patient diagnosis and/or treatment
• Operating, troubleshooting and ensuring ultrasound, echocardiography equipment and instruments are performing in an efficient and effective manner
• Participates in unit/department and Hospital Quality Improvement initiatives
• Completes continuing education requirements as necessary
• Other related duties as assigned
