Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Car Hauler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting vehicles safely and efficiently from one location to another. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation and commercial driving, ensuring that all vehicles are handled with care during transit. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive repair and the ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading.

Responsibilities

Safely transport vehicles to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Operate heavy equipment and forklifts to load and unload vehicles from transport trailers. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer to ensure safe operation. Maintain accurate records of vehicle conditions, mileage, and delivery schedules. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding transportation logistics. Perform basic automotive repairs as needed during transit or upon arrival at the destination. Ensure that all freight is secured properly to prevent damage during transport.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a focus on vehicle transportation. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts. Knowledge of automotive repair techniques is highly desirable. Previous experience in freight handling or logistics is a plus. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required for this position.
