We are currently recruiting for an

Operations Coordinator

for our

Edmonton

branch. The Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating warehouse, inventory, and customer service operations.





Key Responsibilities:




Answer incoming rental calls and deal directly with walk-in customers; Assist customers and project team with the rental of scaffold and motorized access equipment; Take rental orders and complete all necessary paperwork required;

Prepare all required shipping paperwork including invoices and rental documents, and ensure freight charges are recorded for invoicing purposes;

Keep accurate rental data on contracts and customer files;

Assist in producing sales quotes and sales packages for retail sale of equipment;

Responsible for inventory control by updating rental transactions and transfers as they occur;

Enter and maintain safety training records;

Perform data and order entries;

Control, balance, and process inventory levels;

Provide for count accuracy of outbound/inbound shipments;

Assist site supervisors in day-to-day coordination and management of business operational activities

Perform other administrative tasks such as filing, sorting, printing, scanning, etc. as assigned

Qualifications:




High School Diploma required; Post-Secondary education is considered an asset; 3 years of Operations, logistics, inventory experience;

Previous experience in the construction industry is considered an asset;

Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Strong time management and organization skills in order to meet various competing deadlines;

Ability to self-motivate;

Ability to work within a team and build a positive team environment;

Ability to adapt to an ever-changing work environment with competing demands;

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion;

Ability to display sound and accurate judgement with the ability to resolve problems in a timely manner.
