The Teams
Agronomic Excellence
: Working with mid-sized research plots, you will assist in evaluating new and up-and-coming hybrid canola varieties along with agronomic research trials. There are also opportunities to assist with and attend sales tours in the area.
Breeding Operations:
Working with small sized research plots, you will assist in evaluating potential Parental and hybrid canola varieties being developed for the market. There will be additional opportunities to work with disease research, hybrid production, and parental nurseries (dependent on location).
Trait Development Operations:
Working with small sized research plots, you will assist in evaluating potential hybrid canola varieties and traits not yet on the market. Confined field trial monitoring is also a key component of these positions.
Students will be hired and employed through a third-party contracting agency - Raise Recruiting.

Studied/studying Agriculture or a related field.
Genuine interest in agronomics, plant breeding, hybrid devlopment, or field research
Enjoyed solving problems and adapting to changing field conditions.
Want to gain real-world experience in a global agri-business.
Worked independently or as part of a team.
Current Class 5 Alberta Driver's License (for Alberta positions specifically).
Bonus: You have worked on a farm or with machinery - but it not required.
