Contract Duration: 4-6 months (Summer 2026)



Location: Kamloops, BC



Wage: $ 24 - $31 / Hour



During peak periods in the season, overtime will be paid for evenings or weekends.



We are looking for a Canola Parent Seed Summer Associate to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Kamloops, BC.

As a Canola Parent Seed Summer Associate, you create chemistry by...

Assist in the production of parent seed with a focus on meeting both yield and quality standards. Involved in all aspects of parent seed production including: + Organization and execution of parent seed activities from seeding to harvesting.
+ Site preparation, planting, spraying, volunteer control, roguing, crop inspection, pollination, harvest activities, site cleanup and all other required production activities
Quality Control Supervision of casual employees and grower relations Monitoring the health of the crop as it matures and providing data and recommendations is an important responsibility in this role.

If you have...

Agronomic knowledge attained through pursuing your degree in Agriculture or related discipline; coupled with experience in the agriculture/natural science industry. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as contribute to a dynamic team environment. Proven ability to deliver results. Strong attention to detail Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills will be vital in your relations with growers. Class 3 driver's license or Heavy Trailer Endorsement would be considered an asset.
