We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. This position will provide supplemental income. The ideal candidate will have experience is assessment of different conditions. Candidates will complete disability questionnaires for American Veterans. This role requires a strong clinical background and the ability to work effectively in various healthcare settings.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive disability examinations for American Veterans residing in Canada. The purpose of the disability exams is to provide American veterans with disability evaluations following their period of service with the US military.
Complete and submit disability benefit questionnaires based on Veteran conditions. The evaluation findings will be utilized in determining the disability status of American veterans.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
We will provide web based training with completing the disability evaluations so that the physician or provider is fully trained in how these disability evaluations are done prior to furnishing them. There is compensation for training as provided for in the agreement that we will furnish.
Care would not be furnished to any referred veteran. If a provider feels that a referred veteran needs care the provider can request that a referral be made through the web based portal that we will furnish to you following completion of training. The veteran would then receive a referral through another provider or group.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
Experience in critical care, internal medicine, or urgent care settings is preferred.
Familiarity with various medical specialties such as gastroenterology, infectious disease care, internal medicine, or behavioral health is advantageous.
Knowledge of medical coding (ICD-9, ICD-10) and workers' compensation law is beneficial.

Pay: $45.96-$121.96 per hour
