Job Posting: Security Officer - Fire Dispatcher Position, Oromocto, NB

Commissionaires NB&PEI Division is looking to hire a mature and responsible team member for a Fire Dispatcher role at 5 CDSB Gagetown in Oromocto, New Brunswick.

Hours:

24/7, 12-hour shifts, Days, nights, weekday and weekend availability

Rate of Pay:

$20.52 per hour

The Role:

The Fire Dispatcher is responsible for receiving emergency calls and demonstrate good judgment to make informed decisions quickly to dispatch the correct response personal.

We are seeking candidates with:

Ability to focus and comprehend information quickly Strong reasoning and communication skills A calm, proactive, problem-solving approach to tasks Customer service experience Organizational and Technology skills

The successful candidate must be able to:

Maintain high levels of confidentiality Demonstrate sound judgement in addressing uncertain situations Process information quickly and accurately

The ability to communicate in both official languages (French and English) and Designated Veteran Status are both assets.
