Reporting to the PEI Regional Manager, the incumbent will fill a key management role within the PEI Regional Office team, with a focus on ensuring contractual commitments are met and client service levels are maintained by our organization. Our ideal candidate will possess experience in the physical security industry and have had exposure to quality assurance practices through a combination of education and work experience.

Key Responsibility associated with this position:
Contractual Service Level Agreements (SLA) management - responsible for coordination of activities to ensure contractual obligations are being met by our organization.
Activities in support of Key responsibility:
Security Officer Support - offer support and training to security officers and evaluate success
Auditing & Compliance - maintain accurate records of audits, inspections, training sessions, and performance evaluations carried out
Quality Assurance & Performance - monitor and evaluate performance of security officers, maintain records, and provide feedback and suggested corrective actions as required
Continuous Improvement - collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement to improve operational efficiency, safety and compliance
Incident Management - participate in post-incident debriefings and review security protocols to ensure continuous enhancement of security practices
Resource Management - as required, assistance with scheduling and TrackTik / Guard Tour software and support outside of standard business hours
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in physical security or security operations, with at least 2 years in a quality assurance or auditing roles is considered an asset
Experience in a healthcare or hospital security environment preferred
Knowledge of security policies, procedures, and regulatory standards specific to healthcare settings considered an asset
Must meet requirements to obtain a Government of Canada Level II (Secret level) and RCMP enhanced security clearances
Valid Class 5 Driver's License

Strong understanding of physical security systems, including access control, surveillance, alarm systems, and emergency response protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and engage with security officers and hospital staff effectively.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to conduct thorough audits and assessments.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify performance issues and recommend improvements.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Technology:
Proficient in MS Office Suite plus aptitude for learning new technologies where required.
