Join our Prince Albert #BrewCrew - the place where Top Talent wants to be! We're looking for a Full Time Prep Lead who are passionate about creating amazing dishes that keep our guests coming back for more.


Your Purpose: Your role as a Prep Lead is crucial in ensuring the Kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently with a focus on the consistent delivery of quality dishes to our valued guests. Going beyond food prep, you act as a key point of coordination between the prep team and kitchen management.


What will you do?

• Oversee the preparation of ingredients for use in cooking or garnishes
• Label and properly store prepped ingredients to ensure freshness and prevent contamination
• Communicate with kitchen team members to ensure needs are met, and food prep is aligned with service flow
• Teach new kitchen members proper techniques and kitchen safety protocols
• Follow recipes and procedures according to Kitchen Manager and Brewhouse menu
• Support cooks by preparing components of dishes such as sauces, marinades, and dressings
• Ensure ingredients are stocked, properly stored, and used in a timely manner to reduce waste
• Maintain a clean and organized station ensuring all necessary tools, utensils, and ingredients are accessible
What do you need?

• A passion for people, cooking and fun, and be 19+ years of age with one year kitchen experience
• A strong understanding of basic culinary techniques including knife skills for chopping, dicing, and slicing
• A willingness to learn and expand your knowledge and to supervise small teams
• A dedication to understanding the Brewhouse menu, ingredients, and preparation methods
• A strong understanding of proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
• The ability to communicate effectively and prioritize and manager multiple tasks efficiently
• The ability to obtain FoodWise certification
• The ability to fulfil the physical job requirements
