Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
General Manager
to oversee our
Alberta branches.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage multiple locations, drive operational excellence, and support our teams in delivering exceptional customer experiences. The General Manager will report to the Executive Team and will be responsible for both operational and team leadership across the Alberta region.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop branch managers and staff across multiple Alberta locations.
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with company policies.
Drive sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction across all branches.
Monitor and manage budgets, inventory, and financial performance for each branch.
Implement and maintain company standards, processes, and policies consistently across locations.
Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met, including FINTRAC and other industry standards.
Travel regularly between branches to provide leadership support and operational oversight.
Foster a positive, high-performance culture and encourage teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in multi-location management, preferably in retail, financial services, or precious metals.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, P&L, and operational performance.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
This role requires strong English-language skills, including the ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally, as the position involves staff leadership, customer interactions, and interpreting regulatory requirements
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for frequent travel between branches.
Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
