Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, maintenance, and safety protocols. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Operate vehicles to transport freight to designated locations in a safe and timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Follow all safety regulations and company policies while operating vehicles. Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability. Operate heavy equipment or forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading tasks.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred; experience in commercial driving is a plus. Proven experience in freight transportation or logistics is highly desirable. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is an advantage. Basic knowledge of automotive repair is beneficial for maintaining vehicle performance. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
