Position Summary... The role of the Supervisor, Technology Support will act as the right hand to the Regional Technology Manager. In this role the lead will act as the primary technology contact for the operations and transportation associates within the DC as well as interface with OAS, Bentonville, SSC, and the extended Technology Support team.
The Supervisor, Technology Support will also act as the coach for the Technology Support team members within the region, providing guidance, work assignments, priorities, and deliverables.
This role will also be required to travel between sites attending site operations meetings and providing support where needed to ensure all systems and hardware devices are fully operational.

What you\'ll do...

  • The Supervisor, Technology Support role is required for day-to-day administration and support of Logistics specific end point devices, workstations, laptops, printers and software in the logistics environment.
  • Acting as primary in the absence of the Technology Regional Manager. Will act as lead to Logistics support team members on regular basis. Including providing input on schedules and work assignments. This role will also support regular communications to the site leadership and operations during outages.
  • This role is responsible to assist with system upgrades e.g. hardware upgrade, software upgrade, and related duties, including providing support for the Warehouse Management system and Vendor Management systems within the logistics environment
  • This role will also assist/conduct testing/implementation of new systems and services as required and provide feedback during the evaluation and/review of new features, services, software and hardware as required.
  • Support Microsoft Windows and O365 office products and when necessary provide L2 troubleshooting and incident resolution on PC workstations and peripheral devices.
  • This role provides L1, L2 support to Technology support team members, engaging application technical support and escalation to OAS and Bentonville support groups when required
  • Develop site documentation and support documents for use by others. Support formal operational reviews of incident and problem data and solicit input from site on improvement opportunities
  • Shifts or unusual hours may be required to accommodate the needs of the business.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT industry.
  • Relevant industry certifications or working towards them. Examples A+, ITIL, Microsoft certifications etc.
  • knowledge of IT infrastructure (Including Switches, Routers, Firewalls )
  • Ability to work independently, Troubleshoot and Problem solving through issues
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Comfortable with service desk systems for monitoring tickets.
