Position Summary... Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Communications, the Communications Specialist will support the development, delivery and measurement of communications that support the overall Walmart Canada Communications strategy. This includes working with cross-functional teams and supporting content development, execution and project management.
What you\'ll do...
1) Communications distribution: Lead channel management and distribution of communications materials across various Walmart Canada communication channels including newsletters, Spark Digest; memos; Workplace; TV screens; The Wire; screen savers and LinkedIn. Manage internal communications inboxes.
2) Communications development: Create communications for internal/external channels which may include written materials (memos, key messages, speaking points, articles, video scripts) and graphics (newsletters, posters, TV screens, infographics).
3) Measurement: Tracks the performance of key Walmart Canada communications channels and produces a monthly dashboard for the Canadian leadership team.
4) Events: Contributes to the development, planning and execution of Store Support Centre and enterprise events (Spark meetings; GQC; YBM) to drive and enhance associate engagement.
5) Program reviews: Conducts regular reviews of communication programs and channels to ensure activities deliver on objectives.
6) Special project support: Supports special projects & events with co-ordination, project management and content creation.
