Position Summary... The Associate Manager, Marketplace Brand Partnerships is responsible for accelerating the assigned category strategy by partnering with the merchandising team in identifying key brands to be onboarded to Marketplace. The incumbent will target identified brands to onboard them to Marketplace and will be responsible for managing the ongoing brand partnership.

What you\'ll do...

1)Find, pitch to and sign identified priority brands to capitalize on market trends and fill category gaps.
2)Create customized pitches and value proposition for each brand by looking at their ecommerce strategy, competition and industry.
3) Onboard strategic partners onto Walmart Canada\xe2\x80\x99s Marketplace.
4)Own the Seller relationship from prospect to ongoing account management.
5)Provides innovative thinking and problem solving to drive and improve consumer engagement with Walmart.ca\xe2\x80\x99s web properties through both creative, technology, process and merchandising based solutions.
6)Works with cross functional teams: Compliance, Legal, and Merchandising to ensure success and integration of the brands/services with Walmart Canada.
7)Works with merchants and attend relevant merchant strategy meetings to stay aligned to overall category strategy
8)Drive towards the mutual goals of the marketplace team and merchants for the assigned category, and work closely with the merchant in the assigned category to understand priority brand targets and vendor relationships being expanded into marketplace.

Qualifications:

3-5+ years of account management, category management and/or retail experience is preferred

Strong experience with Data pulling and analysis (Adobe Analytics, Looker)

Strong interpersonal skills and comfortability with presenting a sales proposition

Experience in Retail Merchandising, Product Marketing, or e-Commerce is an asset

Strong skillset within Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
