- Valid Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR
- At least 1 year of security experience in a high-profile customer focused environment such as retail, campus, government or healthcare.
- Military/Police background/Law Enforcement background is an asset.
- Previous Use of Force training and arrest experience will be considered an asset.
- Ability to work at different sites across London, Ontario
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare professional daily and/or incident security reports.
- Knowledge of Trespass to Property Act (TPA), Canada Criminal Code and 494(c)
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Ability to conduct arrests in appropriate and sanctioned situations.
- Strong observational skills and situational awareness
- Drive and able to commute across London
Pay Rate: $20.24 per hour Pay Progression Opportunities (based upon performance)
Training: Completion of Use of Force Training and Lawful Subject Restraint, and Crisis Management training are requirements for this role., and also require annual re-certification. The training is provided to new employees for this role along with Securiguard University Orientations courses for skill development.
