Student Affairs is seeking to hire up to six (6) Campus Peer Support Workers to help run a new mental health student support program. The Campus Peer Support program is a nation-wide pilot project, funded by Health Canada and initiated by the Canadian Mental Health Association - National Office. The local pilot project is co-managed by the UPEI Department of Student Affairs and CMHA - PEI Branch. Campus Peer Support Workers will report to designated staff in Counselling and Accessibility Services and will be trained and expected to provide regular peer support to students struggling with mental health and/or addictions or to students who are supporting someone living with the same.
