Campus Custodian

to help keep our campus clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors.

The Role

As Campus Custodian, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our campus. You'll ensure all classrooms, offices, common areas, and facilities are cleaned and maintained daily, contributing to a positive learning environment.

What You'll Do

Clean and disinfect front door glass, front desk, and phones. Wipe down office desks, classroom desks, and surfaces daily. Sweep and mop all classrooms, hallways, and common areas daily. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and staff areas, including sweeping and mopping. Clean and disinfect washrooms daily, including restocking supplies. Empty garbage bins and replace liners in all rooms. Vacuum carpets and sweep mats at the entrances. Ensure blinds are lowered, lights are off, and doors are secured at the end of the day. Set the alarm system as part of daily closing procedures. Clean whiteboards and maintain classroom readiness.

What You Bring

Previous experience in custodial, cleaning, or maintenance roles (an asset but not required). Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Reliability and punctuality with a strong sense of responsibility. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Positive attitude and teamwork skills. Respectful and professional demeanor when interacting with staff and students.
