Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to fill our Store Clerk/ Maintenance Worker position. This position will primarily focus on the Store Clerk half of the job with the Maintenance part mostly being needed on specific days where our maintenance staff may be short handed. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for sales, with the ability to engage customers effectively. As a Store Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing transactions, and maintaining an organized store environment. This role requires communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions. Maintain an organized and visually appealing store layout. Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves and assisting with inventory counts as needed. Input new inventory into Point of Sale(POS). Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods. Communicate clearly with team members and management regarding store operations and customer feedback. Uphold company policies regarding phone etiquette when handling customer calls. Help customers book campsites over the phone. Serve iced cream and coffee products. Provide customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns from facility users regarding grounds maintenance. Perform regular landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, planting, and weeding to maintain the appearance of grounds. Cleaning Facilities on a regular basis.

Requirements

Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Proficiency in using POS systems and other retail technology tools. Organizational skills to maintain store cleanliness and orderliness. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic retail environment. Pay: $15.65 per hour
