Campaign and Ops, Product Owner

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Digitaal Commerce, the Content Management Specialist, will help drive leads through end to end execution of campaigns and web pages and act as a champion for Digital Standards for the Enterprise Business Unit.

What you will do:

  • This position will be responsible for delivering digital projects by publishing daily, weekly, quarterly digital campaigns/web pages while working closely with Marketing and internal I.T teams.
  • Responsible for .com publishing delivery of Enterprise Rogers programs/projects, as well as day-to-day publishing activities in the face of constantly changing business priorities.
  • Responsible for pushing content through each step of the approval process, ensuring all deliverables are approved by stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality of publishing deliverables by being well versed in the use of content management systems (CMS. Tasks would include: working with I.T to request CMS enhancements, inputting final content into the CMS, and making sure all content is QA'd and launched on time)
  • Champion and help direct evolution of CMS system feature sets. Define requirements and provide input that promote scalability, smart publishing practices, and intuitive UI.
  • Solve problems creatively and be able to compromise without impacting the work.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop strategies to expand current eCommerce business (ex: creating personalization experiences, recommendation engines etc.)
  • Measure the impacts on Customer Satisfaction and key business metrics. Analyze this data to identify additional customer needs or refine solutions to existing products using Omniture, Qualtrics, A/B Testing etc.
  • Work closely with internal and external team members on exceptional execution
  • Provide input into planning activities that work is being resourced, executed and accounted for as necessary
What you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant online/digital experience in a fast paced environment with telecom industry experience an asset
  • Experience using CMS systems to maintain, build and update Pages
  • Experience with JIRA or other project software management tracking tool
  • Drive to provide leadership and direction towards accomplishing goals and taking ownership and responsibility from strategy to execution
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Highly motivated individual with a passion for delivering great customer experiences
  • Solid understanding of the web ecosystem and customer needs
  • Experience with digital reporting tools including Omniture and Google Analytics
  • Good understanding of web technologies, general web functionality, best practices, etc.
  • Creative ability with practical application for online channels
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at once
  • Strong self-management, self-pacing, and organizational skills necessary - project management skills considered an asset
  • Strong communication (written and oral) skills and negotiation skills
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
  • Self-accountable for achieving established performance objectives
Technical Skills:
  • Experience working with a CMS system to publish content on Rogers.com/small-business and Rogers.com/Enterprise
  • Some experience with CSS and or Front End Development considered a strong asset
  • Familiarity with content management systems. Experience with Contentful is considered a strong asset
  • Extensive experience working on web production teams
  • Experience managing digital projects, from brief to delivery, and digital content management experience across multiple platforms (desktop web, mobile web, email)
  • Experience using project/process management tools (ex: Altassian JIRA, Confluence) SEO experience is considered a strong asset
  • Intermediate Knowledge with Digital Analytics and Site Metrics Measurement Tools like Omniture, Google Analytics
  • Expert knowledge within the Microsoft Office
