SSR Mining - Seabee Gold Operation is hiring for a Supervisor, Custodial Operations.
About Your New Role:
Reporting to the Superintendent, Camp Operations, the Supervisor, Custodial Operations, will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day management of all aspects of the Custodial Services operation. The Supervisor will mentor, coach, develop and lead Custodial Services staff. Implicit in this position is adherence to and focus on Quality, Health, Safety, and the Environment as they relate to all our operations. Duties will include oversight of recruitment, customer service, resident satisfaction, budgeting, financial management, strategic implementation, and ongoing success of custodial services.
Your Key Responsibilities:Leadership of Custodial Services employees who deliver the day-to-day activities involved in the operation of the Custodial services division. Attend crew probationary reviews. Plan and deliver clear daily crew workloads, setting clear daily targets. Monitor safety performance by conducting Leadership in the Field on a daily basis and sign crew Take 2 safety cards. Oversee the Custodial Services personnel who are responsible for housekeeping and janitorial service delivery. Maintain inventory and usage control systems. Submit requests for camp maintenance as required on SAP system. Monitor expenditures to ensure budget limits are not exceeded. Ensure asset maintenance and support is provided for the custodial equipment. Implements the planning and assignment of work (workloads) for the most efficient use of personnel and equipment. Implements training programs for new employees. Review progress with superintendent daily. Keep informed of new developments in custodial service methods and equipment to enhance or improve existing site procedures. Stringent daily audits of all custodial areas.

Your Knowledge and Skills:Knowledge of Camp Operations principles and industry best practices, preference for candidates with experience in the hotel or hospitality industry. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within budget guidelines and meet required deadlines. Outstanding problem-solving, written/oral communication and interpersonal skills. Must be a well-organized self-starter. Demonstrated experience in motivating, mentoring, and developing employees. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications.

Your Education and Experience:
The successful candidate will have:People leader with 5-7 years progressive experience in Camp Housekeeping/Janitorial Management with a minimum of 3 years' leadership experience. Completed Grade 12 or equivalent. Valid Food Safe Level I Certificate and WHMIS Certificate is considered an asset. Experience working in a remote camp setting.

About Our Working Conditions:
This position has a schedule of 2 weeks in / 2 weeks out at our remote camp in northern Saskatchewan, working 11-hour days. Must be prepared to work some evenings and weekends. You will be required to fly in fly out of the site on designated days from a pick-up point in either Saskatoon, Prince Albert or La Ronge.
