This position is intended for a student currently enrolled in or having just completed MUPD-204 at the Schulich School of Music
Unit: Communications & Production
Primary responsibilities:
Under the direction of the immediate supervisor:run video camera/recorder for live performance of Schulich School of Music concerts and events;
take active direction in English; carry and physically setup Canon XF705/305/205, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K, and set up custom menus for Canon XF705/305/205 and Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K;
placement of equipment as instructed by supervisor.
Other qualifying skills and/or abilities:
Must have taken or be currently enrolled in MUPD 204. Must have musical experience, be able to read musical scores, and be able to recognize instruments of an orchestra by look and by sound. Experience connecting audio and video signals for Canon XF705/305/205 and Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K, including XLR audio inputs and outputs, HDMI/SDI and Genlock coaxial connectors.
