Job Description

The Industrial Technology Centre is looking for a

CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN

to join our growing team!

Core responsibilities and duties:



- Calibrate various dimensional, pressure, force, mass, and hardness measurement devices

- Maintain the internal equipment database of master standards

- Travel on-site to client facilities to perform calibration activities

- Assist in maintaining ITC's ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 accreditations

- Perform preventative maintenance of equipment

Education, experience, and skills:



- Completed a Technical College program, or Grade 12 with significant related experience

- Strong mechanical aptitude, including physical work as well as disassembly/investigation/reassembly of equipment

- Familiar with devices such as pressure gauges, load cells, calipers/micrometers, force machines, scales and balances, threads, Go/NoGo gauges

- Well organized, good time management skills, and ability to schedule internal and external recertifications up to 10 years into the future

- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities

- Strongly skilled in client relations, and communicating technical information

- Background or experience in a machine shop setting is considered an asset

- Ability to travel within Canada occasionally (6-10 times per year)

- Proficient with MS Office 365 (Word, Outlook, and Excel)

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
