As a Police Information Research Specialist with the Calgary Police Service (CPS), you will provide excellent customer service processing applications and information requests. Primary duties include:Receive applications for Police Information Checks and respond to requests for information from internal and external partners.
Analyze relevant police and court information, including criminal dispositions.
Compile investigative findings, evaluate disclosure requirements based on provincial protocols and unit standards and complete a certificate of clearance or a letter of conviction as required.
Collect fingerprints for Vulnerable Sector Searches.
Perform administrative functions, including file and records management, payment processing and process pardon applications.
