As a Communication Strategist with the Calgary Police Service (CPS) you will provide strategic communication service and advice to CPS members regarding plans, policy and system development, issue prevention and management, crisis communication and the development, implementation and evaluation of communication strategies. Primary duties include:
Support the Executive Director in developing and implementing a communications-focused Intergovernmental Relations Strategy.
Monitor and analyze political communications across all three orders of government to inform CPS's strategic positioning.
Support the development and delivery of an advocacy communications plan in collaboration with the Calgary Police Commission.
Provide strategic communications advice to Senior and Executive Leadership on matters related to intergovernmental relations.
