We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating cakes, with the ability to create visually stunning designs that delight our customers. This role requires a strong foundation in food preparation and safety, as well as excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all patrons.

Responsibilities

Decorate cakes with precision and creativity, utilizing various techniques and styles to meet customer requests. Prepare and assemble cakes, ensuring quality and consistency in every product. Collaborate with team members to design custom cakes for special occasions, including weddings, birthdays, and corporate events. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating area in accordance with food safety standards. Handle food items safely and efficiently, adhering to all health regulations. Assist in packaging finished products for display or customer pick-up. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with clients, answering questions, and taking special orders.

Experience

Proven experience in cake decorating is essential, showcasing a portfolio of previous work if available. Background in the restaurant or food industry is preferred, with knowledge of food preparation techniques. Familiarity with baking processes and kitchen equipment is beneficial. Strong understanding of food safety practices and handling procedures. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to enhance customer interactions. Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
