Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. Bilingual skills and experience with POS systems are highly valued to better serve our diverse customer base.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them during their shopping experience Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision and security Provide product information and perform product demos when necessary Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and sales Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the checkout area is clean and welcoming Address customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed Follow company policies for cash handling, security, and customer privacy

Skills

Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service roles Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Knowledge of POS systems and retail merchandising techniques Ability to perform product demos and technical sales when applicable Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently Phone etiquette for professional customer interactions over the phone or online Upselling skills to promote products effectively without being pushy Multilingual abilities to serve a diverse clientele are advantageous Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
