Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions and maintaining a positive shopping experience for our customers. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Process customer transactions accurately using the POS system Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting with inquiries Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized checkout area Assist with merchandising and restocking as needed, labelling Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and customer feedback Assist pharmacist in the lab to prepare prescriptions, answering the phone and other tasks

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers Familiarity with technology sales or technical sales is advantageous Excellent organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently in a busy environment Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone
