What you'll do:






Ensure an excellent dining experience for students and staff by leading and supporting cafeteria team members Oversee the preparation of a wide variety of nutritious hot and cold meals, including sandwiches, salads, fruits, vegetables, and entrees, ensuring compliance with school nutrition and safety guidelines Monitor accurate portioning, proper storage, and product rotation to maintain food quality and safety standards Ensure all food items are consistently well-presented, labeled, and fully stocked during meal service Maintain high standards of food quality, freshness, quantity, and presentation across all cafeteria offerings Lead the execution of cafeteria merchandising initiatives, such as daily specials or themed menus, to encourage student participation and promote healthy choices Supervise and support staff with daily operations, cleaning, sanitizing procedures, and adherence to food safety protocols Perform and delegate additional duties as required to ensure smooth and efficient cafeteria operations

Who you are and what you have:





Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team Positive, enthusiastic, and professional approach to working in a school environment Previous supervisory experience in food service, hospitality, or a related field preferred Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and support a collaborative team environment Some light to moderate lifting may be required (up to 50 lbs) Must be a minimum of 18 years of age Availability to work Monday to Friday, approximately 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (some evening or weekend shifts may be needed) Successful candidates will be required to complete a criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector screening
