Join our dynamic team as a Cafeteria Cashier, where your energetic attitude and customer focused approach will create a welcoming environment for all ski guests. In this role you will be the friendly face behind the register, ensuring accurate transactions and exceptional service in a fast-paced food service setting. Cahiers will also make coffee and stock supplies in the cafeteria and Market place. Associates will need to be available on weekends to support the demands of our ski guests.
Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, upselling items to enhance their experience
Operate POS systems
Handle cash, and member accounts
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring food safety compliance
Manage food handling responsibilities according to health regulations to ensure quality and safety standards are met
Support the overall flow of the cafe by managing customer queues, restocking supplies, and assisting with food service tasks
Skills
Proven experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments with strong cashiering skills
Familiarity with POS
Understanding of sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while supporting kitchen operations and serving customers effectively
