Job Description
Fieldstone School is seeking a reliable and friendly Cafeteria Assistant to support our daily lunch operations. The ideal candidate will help with food preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This position is well-suited for someone who enjoys working with children in a school setting and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation, portioning, and serving of lunch to students Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, serving area, and dining space Wash dishes and utensils by hand, and ensure all surfaces are properly sanitized Follow food safety and hygiene procedures Provide friendly, professional service to students
Qualifications:
Experience in food service or cafeteria work preferred (school setting an asset) Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety Reliable, punctual, and cooperative Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, approximately 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Follows the school calendar (no evenings, weekends, or holidays)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 per week
