Job Description

We are currently seeking casual staff to support the cafeteria program at Holy Rosary High School based in Lloydminster. Applicants must be physically capable of being on their feet for extended periods and be able to do moderate lifting. There may be potential for a temporary contract available in the future.

The position reports directly to the Cafeteria Supervisor and Principal and plays an important role in supporting daily cafeteria operations and ensuring a positive experience for students and staff.

Responsibilities include:

1. Food Preparation: Preparation and cooking of all food items in the cafeteria.

2. Food Safety: Ensuring that all food items meet health and safety standards and are prepared and stored correctly.

3. Customer Service: Ensuring that students and staff are provided with excellent customer service and addressing any complaints or concerns promptly.

4. Cleaning and Maintenance: Cleaning and maintenance of the cafeteria and kitchen area, including equipment and supplies.

5. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to food service, health, and safety.

6. Communication: Communicating with students, staff and the cafeteria supervisor is essential to the position.

Experience & Qualifications include:

- Completion of Food Handling Services Course

- Previous cafeteria/restaurant experience considered an asset

- Ability to work with youth

- RCMP Criminal Record / Vulnerable Sector check
