We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee daily operations at our cafe. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, managing a diverse team, and ensuring the highest quality of food and beverages. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and customers.

Duties

Supervise daily cafe operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service. Train, mentor, and schedule cafe staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service. Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enhance productivity and maintain quality standards. Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed to ensure seamless operations. Monitor online platforms to ensure consistency with menus. Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe environment to comply with health regulations. Collaborate with marketing teams to promote special events or new menu items.

Qualifications

Previous experience in cafe management or a similar role is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications. A passion for coffee culture and an understanding of beverage preparation techniques is a plus. Wine knowledge and asset Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
