On weekends, we invite our guests to rise and shine for a rich variety of pastries, crepes, galettes and breakfast sandwiches.
Under the direction of the General Manager, Cafe Lunette is looking for a Server Assistant to provide support to servers by inspecting all tables for the proper mise en place, cleanliness and completeness.
What you will be doing:
Assisting with food running, ensuring that plates arrive to the proper guest (no auctioning off) Communicating with servers and hosts to maximize seating Practicing a high level of floor awareness and clearing/cleaning as required Following all food safety standards and systems Emptying garbage, changing linen bags, and disposing of garbage and recycling Communicating to all servers any comments or information providing by guests to ensuring a positive, memorable experience Other similar duties as assigned
The person we're looking for has:
A passion for the food & beverage and hospitality industry Similar experience in a fast-paced environment is an asset High attention to detail Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment Organizational skills Ability to take direction and prioritize Strong oral communication skills
