Summary

Cait's Sweet Bites & Beanery is seeking a Barista to join our team in Prince George, BC. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality beverages and baked goods while providing excellent customer service. Your contributions will help us maintain our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and baked goods Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly demeanor Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace Operate POS systems efficiently for transactions Assist with food preparation and ensure food safety standards are met Train new staff on coffee preparation techniques and customer service practices Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall customer experience.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience or relevant experience in the food industry Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating positive experiences Knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Familiarity with POS systems is an asset but not mandatory. A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
