Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a baker/cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and creating delicious treats for our customers. This is a small team so you may be required to assist the front of house team with customers.
Responsibilities
- Prep daily baked goods and sandwiches
- Batch sauces, dips, jams, and other cafe recipes
- Manage inventory and food storage
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and meet health & safety standards
- Assist with menu development
- Occasionally support front-of-house when needed
Qualifications
Prior experience in cafes, bakeries, or similar kitchens is an asset Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including during high-volume rushes Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively Comfortable with early morning shifts and working on your feet for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed (ingredients, equipment, deliveries) Food handler certification is required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
