Job Description

We are looking for a part-time baker to join our team. You will be working 2-4 days per week mostly 6am-2pm.

You MUST have at least 2 years of previous baking experience in a cafe-type setting or commissary kitchen

, and be

confident to work solo shifts

following bake-off, production and customer orders each day. You will also need to know how to watch inventory levels and make new production lists for the next days shift.

Communication, quality and consistency are key to success.

You will be baking off and food prepping our assortment of baked good items and food service menu.

Minimum 2+ years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Minimum 2+ years of experience in a bakery AND food preparation role Self-motivated Time managment and organized Passion for ingredient-driven food Has strong principles in regard to proper cooking techniques, and an eye for detail Keen understanding of kitchen operations and workflow Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Responsible for working during cafe-style hours, which includes mornings

starting at 6:00 am

Opening display of all baked goods before the cafe opens. Ensuring care is taken for all ingredients and displaying proper technique and safe handling. Responsible for creating and following standardized recipes and portioning for completed dishes. Inventory, cleaning, organizing, and maintenance. Ensures correct use, storage, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment and facility. Responsible for working in a clean, and organized manner. Complies with local food safety regulations. Food Safe Certificate
