Job Description

Hearty Catering is cafe and catering company with a focus on healthy, sustainably sourced food. We run a cafe at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine at Leslie and Sheppard East.

What we are looking for:



We are looking for a permanent all-arounder for daytime hours, including lunch. This is a stable, permanent position for a person who wants to grow and thrive in hospitality within a professional, experienced company. Extended health care is available after 6 months. 30-40 hours a week. Monday - Friday. 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Start date is September 2, 2025. Training day August 29, 2025.

This position includes:



Operating a POS Safely serving food Interacting with our customers Assisting with food prep, handling food Basic food fundamentals knowledge Opening-closing and cleaning duties Loves to up-sell

Successful applicants will have/be:



Weekday availability Customer service oriented - a "people person!" Experience with food prep, cooking, and baking Food Handler Certified (or willing to get certified) A thoughtful approach to work Knowledgeable or interested in gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan food preparation
