Under the direct supervision of the Director of Food Service, the Cafe Cook will provide lunch service for the cafe Monday-Friday from 11am-3pm. This position will be responsible for preparing the daily lunch menu, cleaning the kitchen and additional prep and duties as required. This position will work with and provide support to the childcare cook.
Responsibilities:
Preparing Food
Keeping a clean and well-organized kitchen
Preparing items for take and go
Maintain a high quality of food and customer service
Maintain highest standards of SHA Food Safe regulations
Qualifications:
Experience working in a commercial kitchen
Food service and safe food handling experience
Self-directed, demonstrated ability to work effectively without direct supervision or guidance
Must be able to provide a criminal record check with a vulnerable sector check
Current Food Safe Certificate
