DRAFTING TECH JOB DESCRIPTION

1) Report directly to the Engineering Supervisor.

2) Ensure plants compliance with all applicable provincial and national code issues for home construction.

3) Ensure all heat loss sheets and furnace chart are current for all models.

4) Responsible for keeping standards up to date and corrected on construction prints.

5) Ensure the plant construction manual is continually updated and in compliance with all applicable codes and construction practices.

6) Responsible for the following drawings as requested by the Engineering Supervisor:

a) Production drawings: Standard home plans, Special homes, Customer redraws.

b) Detail drawings: Partition, Sidewall, End wall, Ceiling, Floor, Kitchen and Bath.

c) Sales drawings: Blacklines, Elevations, Piling diagrams, Structural, Options, Salesbook updates.

d) Eng. drawings: ECO changes, Construction Audits.

7) Perform but not limit to weekly individual construction area audits to ensure compliance.

8) Root cause analysis of noncompliance issues.

9) Assist with costing and inventory counting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $42,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Experience:

Revit or AutoCad: 1 year (required) drafting: 1 year (required)
